About
Brett grew up in Christchurch, New Zealand. His love for creating jewellery started when a teacher at his primary school taught a group of students how to make a traditional bone carving over a period of weeks.
He took that knowledge and starting to create and explore the world of carving bone, incorporating other materials along the way to create some unique pieces.
He had a small business at the age of 12.
Finishing High School, he went on to complete a 4 year jewellery apprenticeship at a prominent jewellers in Christchurch city.
From the time he finished his apprenticeship he made the shift into self-employment, where he has happily been creating from his cosy workshop at home ever since.
